I didnt know this existed until recently. It’s a very cool statue with incredible views. Lots of walks right beside it if you want to stay a bit longer. Can also make a donation in the car park.

Massive statue with a phenomenal viewing point overlooking a great view of the river Tweed and beautiful countryside.
Car park that can take a few amount of cars (free).
There is a small pleasant walk to the statue. Mostly Flat ground and a gravel path this part of the walk can be suitable for prams/buggies
Wheelchair might manage depending on strength and individual circumstances to the statue.
After the statue is forest walks which is great for the dogs and family. Path can be steep and no handrail but wide space with gravel path. Definitely manageable by beginners. We walked to the temple of muses from here. Well signposted.

Worth the trek out to the area. The statue is a short walk from the car park and you can even continue down on further the path about 3/4 mile to the muses statue. Beautiful and serene wood walk, however steep.

An impressive statue and nice 10 minute walk through woods from free car park (tho there are other paths that can be used to reach this). Nice views. Well worth a little detour if passing nearby. No ticket required.

Dramatic statue with lots of fine detail and made of beautiful local red sandstone. The view from the statue is also stunning with beautiful views over the Tweed valley and the Eildon hills. There are two access points. One from a decent car park specifically for the statue, this route is gravel and has almost no ascent required. The alternative is from the Dryburgh Abbey car park, this route is a very long slow, but significant, ascent on a good dirt path through the forest. These can be made into a loop but only with a significant portion of walking on a very quiet road. The lower option does however offer the opportunity to also visit the abbey, the Statue of the Muse and the footbridge across the Tweed.
